The Grocery Store Project Team is pleased to invite you to special events planned for May 12. Your continued support on this project is greatly appreciated and we hope to see you there.

A small ground-breaking will be held on Lot 164 with Chief and Council, the Project Team, and other guests. It will be hosted from 3 to 4pm. An Open House will be held at Moccasin Square Gardens from 5 to 7pm. All are welcome and invited to join us in celebrating the start of construction this spring and to gather to learn about our new store. Several information tables will be hosted and include detail on the store’s design, construction, and employment opportunities. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any enquiries.

Grocery Store Project Highlights

Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) has for some time envisioned owning a Grocery Store that would offer better access to groceries for members. The development of a Grocery Store on-reserve is a goal of the Comprehensive Community Plan and direction received by the membership.

While hiring and launch of our new Grocery Store is some
time off, we are excited to share news about the types of jobs
available. Our goal is to develop a skilled and vibrant team
who will make the Store a great place to work and shop!
